Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
Mix flaxseed and water; let sit for 5 minutes.
Sauté mushrooms and garlic in a splash of water until soft.
Mash lentils in a bowl, then mix in all ingredients, including flax egg.
Form into balls and place on a lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20-25 minutes until firm and golden.
Enjoy them with marinara sauce, in a wrap or on top of a fresh salad!
