This Tasty Tuesday, I have a crave-worthy, crispy and totally plant-based recipe for you—Crispy Baked Cauliflower Bites! These little bites of joy are crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside and packed with flavor—without any frying!
What You Need:
- 1 medium head of cauliflower, cut into florets
- ¾ cup chickpea flour (or any whole grain flour)
- ¾ cup unsweetened plant-based milk
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp salt
- ½ cup breadcrumbs (or crushed cornflakes for extra crunch)
- ½ cup favorite plant-based dipping sauce (BBQ, buffalo or tahini dressing!)
How to Make It:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, plant-based milk, garlic powder, paprika and salt in a bowl until smooth.
- Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter, letting excess drip off, then coat in breadcrumbs.
- Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Toss or dip in your favorite sauce and enjoy!
These bites are perfect for snacking, adding to salads or stuffing into wraps. Give them a try and let me know how you like them!
Wishing you a crunchy and delicious Tasty Tuesday!

I started out several years ago watching Forks Over Knives, decided to “try out” the plant-based meal plan and had shockingly incredible results. I’ve never turned back. I have lost nearly 50 pounds, and that is just one side effect that me, my family, friends and clients have experienced after making the change.
Having been an incredible cook my entire adult life, I started my own personal chef service, NuYu Nourish, to extend my help to others. I interned under a celebrity chef, became a celebrity chef myself and have been expanding my reach and goals ever since! My plan follows strictly and simply those of Dr. Mcdougall, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn.
