Welcome to Wellness Wednesday, where we share tips to help you thrive with plant-based living. Even though it’s cold out, we are in a heated environment, whether it’s our car, apartment or in front of a fireplace. This week, let’s refresh with delicious hydration ideas.
Why Hydration Matters
Hydration keeps your skin glowing, supports digestion and boosts energy. Let’s make it exciting with plant-based infusions!
Hydration Ideas
Start with spring, purified or sparkling water. For a fun twist, you can even use coconut water!
Citrus Bliss: Lemon, lime and orange slices for a vitamin C boost.
Berry Refresh: Add raspberries or blueberries.
Herbal Chill: Infuse mint, basil or rosemary.
Coconut Water Love: Naturally sweet and electrolyte-rich.
Cucumber Lime Refresher: Combine cucumber slices and lime for a cooling, detoxifying drink.
DIY Electrolyte Drink

Here’s to staying nourished and refreshed!
I started out several years ago watching Forks Over Knives, decided to “try out” the plant-based meal plan and had shockingly incredible results. I’ve never turned back. I have lost nearly 50 pounds, and that is just one side effect that me, my family, friends and clients have experienced after making the change.
Having been an incredible cook my entire adult life, I started my own personal chef service, NuYu Nourish, to extend my help to others. I interned under a celebrity chef, became a celebrity chef myself and have been expanding my reach and goals ever since! My plan follows strictly and simply those of Dr. Mcdougall, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn.
