This week’s Friday Fave is a sweet, crunchy and totally plant-based snack—Cinnamon Pita Chips! They’re crispy, lightly spiced and perfect for dipping into fruit salsa or just enjoying on their own.
Quick Recipe:
Ingredients:
- 2 whole wheat pita breads
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of sea salt
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Lightly brush whole pitas with maple syrup, then sprinkle with cinnamon & salt.
- Cut them into triangles and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until crispy.
