Somewhere along the way, menopause got labeled as a “problem” to be “fixed.”
Hot flashes? Mood swings? Slower metabolism? Doctors, ads and wellness gurus are quick to offer pills, patches and promises — all in the name of “fixing” you.
But here’s what often gets left out:
Menopause isn’t a medical emergency.
It’s a natural, powerful transition — like puberty, only wiser.
Your body isn’t a problem to hack, starve or punish. It’s asking for support, nourishment and respect.
It needs nourishment — real, whole, plant-based foods that support hormonal balance:
- Dark leafy greens for minerals
- Avocados and nuts for healthy fats
- Lentils and beans for steady energy
- Berries for antioxidants and glow
Bottom Line:
This isn’t the end of anything — it’s the beginning of a bolder, wiser chapter.
Support your body with love, not fear.
Happy Monday, you powerful human.

I started out several years ago watching Forks Over Knives, decided to “try out” the plant-based meal plan and had shockingly incredible results. I’ve never turned back. I have lost nearly 50 pounds, and that is just one side effect that me, my family, friends and clients have experienced after making the change.
Having been an incredible cook my entire adult life, I started my own personal chef service, NuYu Nourish, to extend my help to others. I interned under a celebrity chef, became a celebrity chef myself and have been expanding my reach and goals ever since! My plan follows strictly and simply those of Dr. Mcdougall, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn.
