Little by little, the days are starting to stretch again, just a touch more daylight each evening. While the temperatures are still cold, there’s a quiet shift happening and it’s the perfect time to choose something warm and comforting that doesn’t feel heavy.

Today, I’d love to introduce a simple favorite, a Golden Turmeric Latte, soothing and completely plant-based.

Golden Turmeric Latte (Plant-Based & Light)

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup plant-based milk of choice (oat, almond, soy, cashew, etc.)
  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh grated ginger or 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • A small pinch of black pepper
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract or 1 pitted date for gentle sweetness
How to make it:

Warm the plant-based milk gently on the stove. Whisk in turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and black pepper until smooth and fragrant. Sweeten if desired, pour into your favorite mug and enjoy.

Why I love this:

Turmeric and ginger are traditionally used to support inflammation and digestion, while cinnamon adds warmth without heaviness. This latte is naturally low-fat, dairy-free and free of refined sugar, making it an easy, nourishing way to stay cozy while keeping things light and intentional.
