Ingredients~

  • 2 medium apples, peeled, cored and diced
  • ½ cup raw cashews, soaked and drained
  • ½ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp orange juice

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup, optional
  • 1–2 tbsp water, as needed for blending

Instructions~

Add the diced apples, cinnamon and orange juice to a small saucepan. Cook over medium-low heat for 8–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the apples are very soft.
