Today I’m sharing a simple, plant-based snack you can make in minutes, Peanut Butter Banana Energy Bites.
During menopause, symptoms like low energy, cravings, mood swings and blood sugar dips are very common. Having an easy, nourishing snack ready can help support steadier energy and fewer crashes throughout the day.
Quick Recipe (Makes ~8–10 bites)
- 1 ripe banana (mashed)
- ½ cup natural peanut butter
- 1 cup rolled oats
- Optional: dash cinnamon or splash of vanilla
Mix everything together, roll into small bites and refrigerate until firm.
These bites are:
- Naturally sweet and satisfying
- Rich in healthy fats for sustained energy
- Perfect for busy days when menopause symptoms feel overwhelming
Simple food, real support, right when you need it.

I started out over 10 years ago watching Forks Over Knives, decided to “try out” the plant-based meal plan and had shockingly incredible results. I’ve never turned back. I have lost nearly 50 pounds, and that is just one side effect that me, my family, friends and clients have experienced after making the change.
Having been an incredible cook my entire adult life, I started my own personal chef service, NuYu Nourish, to extend my help to others. I interned under a celebrity chef, became a celebrity chef myself and have been expanding my reach and goals ever since! My plan follows strictly and simply those of Dr. Mcdougall, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn.
