Baked Cinnamon Pears

Ingredients
  

  • 2 ripe pears halved and cored
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • A handful of chopped walnuts or pecans optional
  • A splash of vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place the pear halves on a baking dish, cut side up.
  • Drizzle with maple syrup, sprinkle with cinnamon, and add a splash of vanilla.
  • Bake for 20-25 minutes until the pears are soft and slightly caramelized.
  • Top with chopped nuts for some crunch if desired.
