Good Morning,
One of the most common frustrations in menopause is belly fat. Even without changes in diet or activity, shifting hormones, lower estrogen and age-related muscle loss make weight settle around the middle. Metabolism slows and the body favors storing fat in the abdomen, the type most linked to health risks.
But here’s the hope: it doesn’t have to stay that way. A plant-based lifestyle filled with fiber-rich beans, greens, whole grains and legumes can help reduce belly fat while supporting hormone balance. Pair this with strength training and daily movement and your body starts working for you again.
I know this personally, when I embraced plants and left behind oils, dairy and animal products, I lost nearly 50 pounds in just a couple of months. The energy and lightness that followed were life-changing.
If you’d like some of the meals that supported me, hit reply and let’s figure out a time for a consultation call.
With strength & grace.

I started out over 10 years ago watching Forks Over Knives, decided to “try out” the plant-based meal plan and had shockingly incredible results. I’ve never turned back. I have lost nearly 50 pounds, and that is just one side effect that me, my family, friends and clients have experienced after making the change.
Having been an incredible cook my entire adult life, I started my own personal chef service, NuYu Nourish, to extend my help to others. I interned under a celebrity chef, became a celebrity chef myself and have been expanding my reach and goals ever since! My plan follows strictly and simply those of Dr. Mcdougall, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn.
