Good Morning,
For this Thankful Thursday, let’s appreciate a tiny, unexpected treat that feels both indulgent and refreshingly simple, frozen grapes dipped in cacao dust. It’s one of those quiet little joys that doesn’t ask for much, yet delivers every time.
When grapes are frozen, they turn into nature’s candy, cold, crisp and naturally sweet. Roll them lightly in unsweetened cacao powder and suddenly you’ve got this beautiful contrast, juicy and icy on the inside, rich and slightly bitter on the outside. It’s simple, satisfying and somehow feels way more special than it should.
This is the kind of treat that reminds us we don’t always need elaborate desserts or added sugar to feel satisfied. Sometimes it’s just about slowing down, enjoying a few mindful bites and letting real food do what it does best. A small bowl of these after dinner or as an afternoon pick-me-up feels playful, grounding and perfectly balanced.
So today, let’s be thankful for the little ideas that make eating feel joyful again. Simple ingredients, a little creativity and a moment to pause, sometimes that’s all it takes.

I started out over 10 years ago watching Forks Over Knives, decided to “try out” the plant-based meal plan and had shockingly incredible results. I’ve never turned back. I have lost nearly 50 pounds, and that is just one side effect that me, my family, friends and clients have experienced after making the change.
Having been an incredible cook my entire adult life, I started my own personal chef service, NuYu Nourish, to extend my help to others. I interned under a celebrity chef, became a celebrity chef myself and have been expanding my reach and goals ever since! My plan follows strictly and simply those of Dr. Mcdougall, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn.
