Good Morning!
Wrinkles, dryness and changes in skin texture are often blamed entirely on hormones during menopause, but nutrition may play a bigger role than many people realize.
While shifts in estrogen can absolutely affect the skin, what we eat every day also influences how skin looks and feels from within.
Foods rich in antioxidants and nutrients, like berries, leafy greens, walnuts, chia seeds and colorful vegetables, help support the skin by fighting oxidative stress and supporting overall skin health.
Fresh fruits and raw vegetables can also help support hydration naturally because many contain high water content, something the skin benefits from as well.
It’s not about chasing perfection or reversing aging. It’s about giving your body the nourishment it needs during a season of change.
The takeaway: skincare isn’t only about what goes on your skin, it’s also about what goes on your plate.
Small daily choices really do add up.

I started out over 10 years ago watching Forks Over Knives, decided to “try out” the plant-based meal plan and had shockingly incredible results. I’ve never turned back. I have lost nearly 50 pounds, and that is just one side effect that me, my family, friends and clients have experienced after making the change.
Having been an incredible cook my entire adult life, I started my own personal chef service, NuYu Nourish, to extend my help to others. I interned under a celebrity chef, became a celebrity chef myself and have been expanding my reach and goals ever since! My plan follows strictly and simply those of Dr. Mcdougall, Dr. T. Colin Campbell and Dr. Esselstyn.
